SuperSonics owners submit letter of intent to OKC
Professional Basketball Club, LLC, the owners of the Seattle SuperSonics, sent Mayor Mick Cornett a letter of intent Friday detailing plans to move the team to Oklahoma City.
The letter, which can be read here, revues the lease terms and conditions the city and the team would have to agree to relocate the team to Oklahoma City. The agreement is to last 15 years.
A brief media conference regarding the City's letter of intent with Professional Basketball Club, LLC is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday in the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 200 N Walker. City Manager, Jim Couch, will head the conference.
