Durant, Law head AP All-Big 12 basketball team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. Texas freshman Kevin Durant and Texas A-and-M's Acie Law today were named unanimous first-team selections to The Associated Press All-Big 12 team.
Texas Tech's Jarrius Jackson also earned a first-team nod.
The team was selected by a panel of media representatives who regularly cover the Big 12.
Kevin Durant, regarded by many as perhaps the best freshman in N-C-A-A history, was the nation's only player among the top 10 in both scoring and rebounding.
Second-team selections include Texas point guard D-J Augustin and Texas A-and-M junior Joseph Jackson.
The A-P will announce Big 12 individual honors, including the coach and player of the year, later this week.
